Bugatti
Bugatti, founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti in Alsace, is a legendary French automaker specializing in luxury automobiles and extreme performance vehicles. Bugatti's history ranks among the most prestigious in the automotive sector, marked by revolutionary technical innovations and a wealthy global clientele, with the brand having produced iconic models such as the Type 35 (1924), winning over 2,000 races, and the Royale (1927-1933), considered one of the most sumptuous cars ever built with 300 horsepower and 6.3 liters of displacement. After decades of interruption and several ownership changes, Bugatti was revived in 1998 by the Volkswagen group, establishing its manufactory in Molsheim, Alsace, from where it launched the contemporary Bugatti range with the Veyron (2005), a revolutionary hypercar of 1,001 horsepower becoming the brand's symbol against competitors Ferrari and Lamborghini. Between 2005 and 2015, the Bugatti Veyron specification sheet established several world records, notably the speed record with 431 km/h in 2010, while the special Veyron Super Sport edition consolidated the brand's reputation in the ultra-premium hypercar segment. Limited production and astronomical pricing (over two million euros) reflect Bugatti's exclusive positioning, with only a few dozen clients annually and addressing solely a global elite of collectors and prestigious mechanical enthusiasts.
