De Tomaso is an Argentine automobile manufacturer founded in 1959 by Alejandro de Tomaso in Modena, Italy, quickly becoming a benchmark in the high-performance sports car segment. De Tomaso's history is built around iconic models such as the Pantera, launched in 1971 and produced until 1996, which directly rivals Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche 911 thanks to its Ford V8 engine with 351 to 455 horsepower and sleek design signed by Giugiaro.
