Mahindra is an Indian automotive manufacturer founded in 1945 by the Mahindra brothers, based in Mumbai, which has established itself as one of the largest manufacturers of utility vehicles and SUVs in South Asia. Mahindra's history begins with the assembly of Willys vehicles and progressively evolves toward the design of proprietary models, particularly in the segment of robust SUVs and pickup trucks intended for emerging markets.
