Ora Adora 2019 - 2022
The Ora Adora is the compact urban SUV from Chinese brand Ora (a subsidiary of Great Wall Motor), launched in 2021 to target urban dwellers seeking accessible electric mobility and singular design in a highly competitive segment. Embodying a new generation of affordable electric vehicles, this compact model distinguishes itself through its retro-futuristic aesthetic approach, elevated proportions and positioning firmly oriented towards young urban drivers, in direct competition with references like the Volkswagen ID.3 or BYD Yuan Plus. The Ora Adora history truly begins in 2021, when the Chinese manufacturer officially launches this electric SUV equipped with an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery giving it a range between 300 and 400 kilometers depending on versions. Through successive commercial updates, the Ora Adora model has benefited from periodic improvements in infotainment interface, charging power and reinforced active safety, consolidating its presence on the Chinese market first before gradual expansion to Southeast Asia. The Ora Adora generations are characterized by a common platform based on MEB-inspired architecture, offering optimal interior versatility and a flat floor benefiting cabin modularity. Positioned in the affordable battery compact electric SUV segment, this model embodies Great Wall Motor's aggressive pricing strategy, combining personal design and embedded technologies at a price below 20,000 euros on the Chinese market, a factor of appeal for a clientele sensitive to energy transition and innovative mobilities.
