Rimac Automobili
Rimac Automobili, a Croatian manufacturer founded in 2009 by Mate Rimac in Zagreb, has established itself as a world leader in electric hypercars, revolutionizing the high-performance vehicle segment with pioneering expertise in extreme electric mobility. Rimac Automobili's history begins with the Concept One in 2016, an electric coupe displaying 1,088 horsepower and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, which laid the foundations for a brand based on technological innovation and raw performance. Between 2018 and 2024, the Rimac Automobili manufacturer developed a highly exclusive Rimac Automobili range, with the Concept Two model launched in 2020, offering 1,914 horsepower, 2,000 Nm of torque and a top speed of 412 km/h, positioning the brand in direct competition with Lotus Evija and manufacturers like Pininfarina and Aspark in the ultra-limited electric hypercar niche. The Rimac Automobili technical sheet is characterized by proprietary electrical architecture, a high-voltage 120 kWh battery and range up to 550 km, with production concentrated in Croatia in state-of-the-art facilities in Zagreb. Since 2021, Rimac has also established strategic alliances by taking an increasing stake in Bugatti, progressively integrating the French manufacturer to create Bugatti-Rimac, a joint entity combining the century-old prestige of the French manufacturer with the Croatian group's electrical expertise. This partnership, finalized in 2023, positions Rimac as one of the rare manufacturers to govern a heritage brand while developing its own electric hypercars, thus ensuring a lasting presence in ultra-premium markets where exclusivity and technological innovation remain the major criteria for differentiation.
