The Seat 850 is one of the most emblematic Spanish cars of the 20th century, a symbol of automotive democratization in Southern Europe for several decades. Launched in 1966 by Spanish manufacturer Seat, this urban compact draws heavily on the Italian Fiat 850, adopting its platform and mechanical concept, while developing its own identity with diversified bodywork. The Seat 850 story extends over more than forty years of production, punctuated by progressive restylings and the introduction of improved powertrains, positioning this model as an economical and reliable alternative against Renault 6 or Peugeot 104 on the European market.
