Abarth

Abarth, founded in 1949 by Carlo Abarth in Italy, is an automobile manufacturer specializing in performance and tuning since its Piedmontese origins. The Abarth story is rooted in a tradition of mechanical preparation and competition, particularly on Fiat vehicles whose platforms it exploits to create radicalized and sporty versions. Since its integration into the Fiat Chrysler group in 1971, then its continuity within Stellantis, Abarth concentrates its Abarth range around city cars and small sports cars: the legendary Abarth 595 (succeeding the 500 Abarth launched in 2008), the high-end 695, and the compact Abarth 124 Spider (partnership with Mazda, produced from 2013 to 2020) remain the emblematic models of the 2007-2023 period. Abarth models display power outputs ranging from 140 hp to 190 hp depending on versions, with Abarth technical specifications favoring turbocharging, stiffened suspensions and sports exhausts for positioning below compact sports cars like the Renault Clio RS or the Ford Fiesta ST.
