Kia Optima TF Phase 2 2013 - 2016
The Kia Optima is a D-segment sedan that has represented since 2001 the Korean brand's ambition to conquer the market for premium family cars, against rivals such as the Toyota Camry or Hyundai Sonata. The Kia Optima story begins in 2001 with the first generation (2001-2006), characterized by conservative design and reliable mechanics inherited from partnerships with Hyundai, offering excellent equipment-to-price ratio that quickly seduced European customers. The Kia Optima generations succeeded one another on a five-to-six-year cycle: the second version (2006-2010) refines the style and improves interior comfort, while the third generation (2010-2015) marks a major turning point with more assertive design, the arrival of a hybrid powertrain and safety technologies ahead of the competition. The Kia Optima continues its evolution with the fourth generation launched in 2015, which adopts Kia's new stylistic identity with the characteristic "tiger nose grille", more spacious cabins and modern turbo engines, before the fifth generation, appearing in 2020, completely redefines the approach with refined design inspired by luxury concepts, increasing electrification and connectivity worthy of premium models. Positioned as a credible alternative to German and Japanese sedans with conventional or hybrid powertrains, the Kia Optima specification sheet combines energy efficiency, recognized reliability and generous equipment, thus consolidating its place as a reference in the hearts of buyers concerned with performance and durability.
