Mazda 6

The Mazda 6 is an elegant and dynamic sedan that has embodied since 2002 Mazda's ambition to offer attractive automobiles combining performance and refinement. Launched as a replacement for the Mazda 626, this D-segment sedan established itself as a reference in its class thanks to a driving philosophy inspired by the Japanese brand, embodied by the "Jinba Ittai" concept aiming for a fusion between driver and machine. The Mazda 6 story is built around four successive generations, each marking notable stylistic progression: the first generation (2002-2007) adopts refined and modern design, while the second (2008-2012) asserts a more muscular and aerodynamic profile, the third (2013-2018) introduces Mazda's Kodo design language with sharper lines, and the current generation since 2019 pushes evolution forward with increased visual presence and more refined technologies. The Mazda 6 model is particularly distinguished by its ability to offer engaging driving without sacrificing daily comfort, positioning the sedan against established competitors such as the Opel Insignia or Honda Accord. Throughout its Mazda 6 generations, the model has also benefited from continuous mechanical evolutions, progressively incorporating more efficient gasoline engines and, recently, hybridization to meet current environmental requirements, confirming the relevance of the Mazda 6 technical specifications in an ever-changing intermediate sedan market.
