RAM HD 4 2009 - 2018

The RAM HD is the prestigious American pickup truck dedicated to professionals and demanding utility vehicle enthusiasts, combining exceptional towing capacity with an evolving cabin comfort. Launched in 2002 as the successor to the heavy-duty Dodge Ram, the history of the RAM HD spans three generations marked by a gradual dominance of the heavy-duty pickup segment against rivals such as the Ford F-250 and the Chevrolet Silverado HD. The first generation (2002-2008) introduced a rugged design and reliable mechanicals, while the second (2010-2018) revolutionized the RAM HD's positioning with the adoption of the luxurious Mega Cab and premium diesel engines, strengthening its appeal among demanding professional users. Successive RAM HD generations have continuously evolved in terms of ergonomics, onboard technology, and engine options, with the arrival of sophisticated driver assistance systems and powerful turbodiesel and gasoline engines. Since 2019, the third generation has continued this momentum by refining the exterior design, enriching the cabin, and offering diverse cab configurations to suit both agricultural operations and construction businesses. Today, the RAM HD's technical specifications reflect a mature vehicle, available in multiple chassis and powertrain configurations, confirming its status as an undisputed leader in the American premium utility pickup truck segment.
