Trabant 601

The Trabant 601 is an icon of East German automobiles, a symbol of accessible mobility and technical ingenuity for generations of drivers in Eastern Europe. Launched in 1964 by VEB Sachsenring, this compact sedan marked the Trabant 601 history by becoming the most produced vehicle in the GDR, with nearly 2.8 million units manufactured until 1991.
